Dr. Tomi Heiskanen, President and founder of Pendiam, has PhD in Chemical Engineering and M.Sc. (Management) from M.I.T. Sloan School of Management, USA. Prior to starting up Pendiam he was President of Optatech Corporation. During Optatech he made several technology transfer agreements and established four joint venture companies in China and Korea.
Previously he has worked as the Corporate Vice President of Technology of Neste Corporation, that time the largest industrial company in Finland.
Dr. Heiskanen is the Chairman or member of the Board of several high tech and consulting companies in Europe and Asia.
He has more than 20 years of experience in international business, technology management, R&D and technology transfer and 10 years experience in managing Joint Venture companies in China.
